Fairfield Leisure Centre will explode with excitement on January 26 when it holds its annual pool party as part of the Australia Day celebrations.
There will be free entry into the centre from 10am to 3.30pm with an abundance of activities planned for attending families.
Highlights on the day will include the aquatic play water park featuring water slides, sprays and a giant tipping bucket to entertain the children.
There will also be a DJ performing during the day.
Prairiewood Leisure Centre will also have a DJ as well as water rides.
Entry into the pool will be free.
Both centres are reminding attendees that children aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Canley Heights Town Centre will also be holding a fun-filled pre-Australia Day event on Saturday, January 25, from 4pm to 9pm.
Youngsters will be treated to face painting, balloon animals and children’s craft activities.
There will also be a sausage sizzle and free giveaways during the evening, as well as a spectacular fireworks display.
Fairfield mayor Frank Carbone said the events were for everyone to enjoy.
“Australia Day is our nation’s special day and it’s truly an occasion for celebration,” he said.
“It’s a chance to celebrate life in Australia, regardless of our background or upbringing.
“I encourage everyone to head out over the Australia Day weekend and enjoy the celebrations with friends and family.”
