Liverpool City Council’s popular picnic event is returning bigger and better in 2022 giving even more residents the opportunity to enjoy longer balmy summer nights a hop, skip and jump away from home.
Love Summer is Back for 2022 where your local park will burst into life over three weeks during summer, with food trucks, a pop-up bar, live tunes from local performers and a host of much-loved garden games.
As the sun sets, Love Summer’s open-air cinema will keep all family members entertained, including your furriest members with a different family-friendly movie under the stars. Meanwhile, parents can kick back with an exclusive cocktail from Australia’s most highly awarded distillery.
After last year’s sell-out, Council plans to revisit the popular locations where the event was held and has added an additional site at Cirillo Reserve in Middleton Grange.

Entry to Love Summer 2022 is free and you will not be required to book a ticket.
Arrive at the event early to receive free fairy floss and popcorn (until stocks last) and secure your spot for the optimal movie viewing experience. Attendees are encouraged to leave their cars at home and walk to the site where possible.
