Surf’s up in Liverpool these school holidays
Local kids will be ready to hit the beach this summer after having taking part in the surf themed school holiday activities at the Liverpool Regional Museum and Liverpool City Library including a free workshop hosted by a Maroubra Lifesaver and an indoor mechanical surfboard. Liverpool City Council Deputy Mayor, Ned Mannoun, said the free activities are in conjunction with Summers Past: Golden Days in the Sun exhibition. “Gary Cheer, a Maroubra Lifesaver, will be at the Liverpool Regional Museum talking to kids about surf awareness and safety with lots of fun games and giveaways,” said Mr Mannoun.
