Black Mermaid Productions was born from the perfect creative union between Writer, Julie Ditrich and Arrtist Jozef Szekeres and specialises in comic books and graphic novels.
The local company was named for the founders love of the mythological creatures.
Since it’s formation Black Mermaid Productions has produced a number of popular books that have sold at an astonishing rate, proving that the company is outing out local community and Australia on the comic book map.
I spoken to Julie about her work before but this week she gave me a rare look into how the the former captain of Casula High School became a comic book queen.
