The State Opposition has criticised cuts to the Cabramatta Street Team after a child committed suicide, ABC News reported last night.
The case file for the 14 year old was closed in recent weeks as the specialised service was scrapped and integrated into the much larger regional service.
The Government is yet to comment on the matter.
An inquest is currently underway.
In May, worried about the future of the Cabramatta Street team and the community, the spokesperson for the Cabramatta Street Team Robin Croon, told Brittany about the effects these changes could have and appealed to the community to get involved.
