Starry Sari Nights Brings The Flair Of South Asia

Get ready to be dazzled by the colour and flair of South Asia, when Starry Sari Nights comes to Liverpool this September from Saturday 7th to Sunday 8th for a weekend full of food, fashion, dance, music and art.

George St will be transformed each night from 5pm to 10pm with live performances, Sari fashion shows, food and market stalls, workshops and more. Delve into the customs, traditions and tastes of the Indian subcontinent as we take you on a vibrant journey.

Starry Sari Night will be among the biggest cultural events in New South Wales, transporting attendees to the vibrant streets that epitomise South Asia over three days.

Warmly known as Sari Street in many cultural circles, the event will be anchored in George Street which boasts one of the largest collections of Sari dressmakers in metropolitan Sydney.

Like the stunning Saris in the shopfront windows, Liverpool’s rich cultural tapestry will be on display through cuisine, fashion, dance, music, art, and cultural workshops.
