Your Local Station 89.3 FM 2GLF
89.3FM 2GLF is the local not for profit Community Broadcaster for the Liverpool-Fairfield region, broadcasting 24 hours a day, seven days a week. More than 200 local volunteers produce the service from our studios in the Liverpool School of Arts Building.
What we broadcast?

■ Each weekday morning (9am-12pm) a local magazine program covering local issues, community information and interviews with the local community.
■ Connecting with local ethnic communities with broadcasts in more than 15 languages with programs covering community information, government announcements and news within their communities.
■ Providing a local training ground in media production for youth groups producing programs for broadcast.
■ Providing specialised music programs across a range of genres with a strong commitment to Australian music.
■ Live outside broadcasts at community events covering such key events as Australia Day and Liverpool’s recent Bicentenary Celebrations.
■ A local emergency broadcasting service.

More than just a radio station

■ We provide an outlet for all communities groups within the region to publicise upcoming events and their regular activities.
■ An estimated 85,000 people listen to Community Radio across the Liverpool and Fairfield region at least once per week,
■ Community access to a broadcast standard studio complex for a low annual membership (currently $22 per year with a $10 joining fee).
■ The station is managed locally by volunteers covering all aspects of station operations.
■ Open access to membership and access to air time to the community.
